How To Use This Website
My writings, spanning six decades, vary from clear and informal to turgid and perhaps too formal. Regardless, my intent is to communicate important stuff. This means my readers may, from time to time, have to work hard to understand my ideas. I suggest reading no more than a few pages at a time, then pondering these for hours or days or weeks, however long it takes to decide whether you agree or disagree. You may need to read and reread. You may also benefit from sharing these ideas with others.
Another thing or two. I have coined some novel terms—including Tef Theory and Tefistry—and I have used many existing terms in novel ways. These terms may be unfamiliar to you; for help see the Glossary in Tef Theory And Tefistry, downloadable from the Tef Theory page. My punctuation may annoy some people: I capitalize selected terms (inconsistently!), I use scare quotes liberally, I regard the dash as a useful symbol, and I have failed to catch the occasional typo. Sorry for all these peculiarities.
If you wish to quote me, I expect the courtesy of attribution. Tell others that I wrote the quote, and tell them which document it comes from. If you wish to publish more than brief passages, or a poem, or a photo from tefistry.com, please seek my permission. Thanks.
